Peanut butter and chocolate. Two foods, when on their own, are delicious. But when combined, they make magic together. Like in the popular candy bar, for sure. So, I knew I had to take those two favorites and make them into one delicious quick bread recipe.
This peanut butter quick bread is a family favorite. It’s unique, as it doesn’t use banana bread as a base, but it stands on it’s own. I am sure you will love it.

Ingredients you need:

Making your peanut butter quick bread:
- Preheat oven to 350, and grease 2 loaf pans.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
- Using a separate bowl, add melted butter, eggs, milk, and peanut butter. Stir well to combine.
- Add wet ingredients into dry and mix until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter between the prepared pans, and bake.
- Cool completely before slicing.
What kind of peanut butter should I use for this peanut butter bread?
I used natural, creamy peanut butter in this recipe, as I am not a huge fan of the chunky kind. If you want it to be chunky, that works just as well.
What if I am allergic to peanuts?
If you need to avoid peanuts, swap out the peanut butter for almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower butter.

What about dairy free options?
- swap out the butter for coconut oil, measured in liquid form
- exchange the milk for homemade almond milk or coconut milk
