INSTANT POT BUFFALO WINGS

If you love hot wings, you are indeed gonna love this recipe! Of all the instant pot recipes I have tried, used, and loved, this has to be one of my favorites!
What makes this recipe so easy to do is that you can use either fresh or FROZEN chicken wings. ....in less than 45 minutes, you’ll have an easy appetizer, snack food, or finger food for the whole family.
- chicken wings - salt and pepper - Franks Hot Sauce - butter
Place the trivet in the bottom of your Instant Pot and add the frozen wings on top.
Add 1 cup of water in the bottom. Set to manual for 25 minutes.
Remove the wings from the Instant Pot, and set on a plate. Season liberally with salt and pepper.
In a medium sized pot, melt butter and hot sauce together, stirring constantly to combine. Dip the seasoned wings into the sauce to coat and serve.
WHAT IS BUFFALO CHICKEN?
It generally refers to chicken that has been smothered in hot sauce. Wing sauces can range in level of heat, from more mild like Franks Hot sauce to “make you cry” sauce with Serrano or habanero peppers.
CAN YOU REALLY MAKE CHICKEN WINGS IN THE INSTANT POT?
Absolutely! The Instant Pot is amazing! It’ll cook the wings from frozen, with a hands off approach. There is no risk of burning the wings, and very little risk of undercooking them as well.
