I used to wonder “What exactly are these ‘leftovers’ that people keep talking about?”
When my kids were younger, and in taekwondo 5 days a week, leftovers just didn’t happen. I could barely make enough food for a meal as it was!
There is one meal in particular that is still memorable to my family. I made a meatloaf for lunch, with mashed potatoes, home canned green beans and home canned peaches.
Sliders are “little burger” type sandwiches. Truly a comfort food anytime, even as a snack, they are also great on the go sandwiches.
I DECIDED TO MAKE MEATLOAF SLIDERS FOR LUNCH, AND IT WAS A HIT!
You can use whatever you want! I prefer to use these homemade hamburger buns with mine, but you can certainly use whatever you have on hand.
CAN I USE ANY BUN WITH THIS RECIPE? WHAT ABOUT SLICED BREAD?

– Lettuce – Tomato – Red onion – Leftover meatloaf
