One of my favorite things about this maple butter is that it’s so simple and easy to make. It only takes 2 ingredients-maple syrup, and room temperature, softened butter. You can mix this with a wooden spoon in a large mixing bowl, or go the easier route and use a stand mixer.

How do I make this maple butter?

If you are using a stand mixer, you can use either the whisk or paddle attachment. I have better results with the whisk myself, but my mixer is the smaller one. Try both and see which one you like best.

To make this whipped butter by hand, simply mix the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir well by hand with a large wooden spoon. Allow the butter to come to room temperature for at least 20 minutes, then add maple syrup and whip.
