Savory spices and Parmesan cheese blend with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to create a delicious Italian bread dipping oil you will love!

I love making fresh, homemade bread. There’s something almost therapeutic about it. Taking out any frustration you have on that dough is a great stress relief, in my opinion.
When I make a lot of bread, we eat a lot of sandwiches. Another way to consume all that homemade deliciousness is to make a quick and easy dip for bread.
What is a bread dip?
It’s just like it sounds. A dip especially for bread slices or chunks. Typically, it has extra virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, dried herbs, or fresh herbs, and perhaps an acid like lemon juice, or a vinegar to balance it all out.
Simple and easy, and served in a shallow plate for easy dipping, many Italian restaurants will serve this as an appetizer.

Ingredients you need:
- Italian seasoning
- Shredded Parmesan cheese
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar
- Garlic cloves
- Bread slices for dipping

Making your bread dipping oil recipe:
- Mince garlic and set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and gently swirl to mix.
- Serve with crusty bread for delicious dipping.

Can I make this dipping oil ahead of time?
This dipping oil is best made just before being ready to serve. If you need to, make it up to 30 minutes in advance and allow it to sit at room temperature for best flavor.
What kind of bread is best for this?
I love a crusty loaf of bread to serve with this. Homemade French bread, or Artisan bread are my favorites. You’ll love this with easy flatbread, too! However, you can serve this with any store bought bread you’d like.
