What is Panna Cotta

Panna cotta is a traditional Italian dessert, that means “cooked cream”. Its a great recipe for summer, as it’s light, not too sweet, and easy to make.

Panna cotta has a texture of a smooth, creamy, pudding.

Is Panna Cotta gluten free?

Yes, there is only cream, baker’s chocolate, a bit of salt and gelatin in this recipe.

Can Panna Cotta be made with milk instead of cream?

I have tried this with milk alone before. The recipe DID thicken up, but the texture was not the same. You need the heavy cream mixture to get the thick, creamy, pudding like texture.
