Either one will work here. If you are using canned beans, you will want to drain and rinse them a bit before adding to the recipe. Otherwise, they may taste too salty.

What I like to do is to make sure the cheese is fully melted, and the filling surrounded by that melted cheese. Then, use two spatulas to help loosen and flip the quesadilla over.
If you are really brave, then you can lay a plate over the top of the pan, then flip the quesadilla on the plate. Finally, slide the quesadilla back onto the pan from the plate to cook on the other side.

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream for serving
- Salsa for serving
Instructions
