At our local grocery store, we found a snack that we felt we had to try. Everything bagel cashews. I mean, wow! We love cashews and we love the savory crunchiness of everything bagel seasoning, so what could go wrong?
As it turns out, not a thing. They are so delicious! The biggest issue is that they were $17.00 a pound for this snack. YIKES!
So, I figured out a recipe that we love here, making it cheaper and far easier to make all the time. Which makes hubby and the Frenchman happy.

Ingredients you need:

Making your seasoned cashews:
- Preheat oven.
- Place cashews on baking sheet, and pour oil over all. Mix to coat.
- Sprinkle seasoning on top of cashews and place in oven.
- Roast, then allow to cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container.
How do I keep my cashews from burning in the oven?
The cashews are not in the oven very long to roast, but if you are concerned about burning, then stir them half way through cooking time. Also, make sure your oven rack is in the middle of the oven, not closer to the top or bottom.
What is in everything bagel seasoning?
This seasoning blend that tops nearly everything like bagels, nuts, breads, and even potatoes has just 5 basic ingredients. Sesame seeds, poppy seeds, mined dried onion, garlic, and coarse salt. It has a delightful crunch with a wonderful savory flavor.

Everything Bagel Cashews
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole cashews
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 3 Tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Place cashews on ungreased baking sheet, and pour oil over all. Mix to coat.
- Sprinkle seasoning on top of cashews and place in oven.
- Roast for 5 minutes, then allow to cool completely for 5 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container.
